A Day in The Life of The Technical SEO Team
This month we’re looking for an enthusiastic graduate to join the Technical SEO team at QueryClick. Since it’s hard to know what working in an specific industry is like before you’ve even done it, we thought we’d take you along for a week in the life of Alex, one of our Senior Technical SEO Managers.
You can find all the information about the current open role here. Skip to the bottom to see an update from Alex on 2019 so far at QueryClick.
Alex’s Day in the life in Technical SEO, June 2018
Well time has certainly flown since June 2019, but I’m pleased to say that I’m still having just as much fun at QueryClick (I’ve been here 2.5 years now). Let’s recap on some highlights from the last 12 months…
– 17 QueryClick games of Kubb
What can we say… we like scandinavian throwing games!
– A week in Lisbon attending WebSummit
In November 2019 I went to Lisbon for 7 days with two colleagues to attend the super-fun (and exhausting) WebSummit. We ate our own weight in Pastel de Nata and walked tens of thousands of steps per day, and had an awesome time exploring Lisbon’s eatieries and practicing our Portuguese.
– 1 epic Christmas party in Edinburgh
– 2 nights on the Caledonian Sleeper
– 1 x 10 week Front End Web Development Course with Flatiron School
QueryClick paid for me to attend a 10 week Front End Web Development at Flatiron School last winter. I took 6 hours of classes in the evenings and completed numerous hours of homework, and despite all this, I loved every second.
– 1 x trip up Ben Lomond with the QueryClick team
In June 2019 a group of us climbed Ben Lomond to admire the views! A fun time was had by all, and was followed by drinks in the local pub, and an excellent Indian takeaway.
If you’re thinking of applying for the Technical SEO graduate role at QueryClick, what are you waiting for…we’d love to have you on the team!
